Registration for the XXIX FIDE Congress is now closed. We have set a maximum capacity for this edition of the FIDE Congress to ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all attendees and this has been reached. We hope to welcome you at an upcoming FIDE Congress in the near future.

*Frais d’inscription au congrès pour les participants au séminaire « Young Fide Seminar » : la confirmation de votre participation au « Young Fide Seminar » est nécessaire. L’organisation vérifiera votre inscription (séparée) à ce séminaire à un stade ultérieur.
Frais d’inscription au congrès pour les doctorants : une carte d’étudiant est exigée et doit être téléchargée. Le document peut être téléchargé en format Word, PDF, JPEG, PNG (max. 5 Mb).
Sans l’inscription au « Young FIDE Seminar » / copie de la carte d’étudiant, le tarif pour non membres FIDE vous sera facturé.
** Veuillez noter que vous devez vous munir de votre code de réduction fourni par votre association nationale FIDE.

Congress fee for participants who are member of a national association of FIDE, the International Federation of European Law. Please click here for an overview of all National Associations of FIDE.
Congress fee for participants of the Young FIDE Seminar: a confirmation that you will be attending the Young FIDE Seminar is required. The organization will check your (separate) registration for this seminar at a later stage.
Congress fee for Ph.D students: a student card is required and must be uploaded. The file can be uploaded in Word, PDF, JPEG, PNG (max. 5 Mb).
Without registration for the Young FIDE Seminar/copy of student card the Non-FIDE member registration fee will be charged.
We accept payments by credit card (VISA, Master card and AMEX), iDEAL (Dutch participants) and payment by bank transfer. We cannot accept payment by cheque and debit card. Any additional fees (e.g. bank charges) are at own expense. Payment of the applicable registration fee must have been made within 14 days after registration or at least before the start of the congress to secure your participation.
Notification of cancellation of registration must be sent in writing to the XXIX FIDE Congress Secretariat at fide2020@congressbydesign.com.
- For cancellations received up to and including 3 September 2021, a cancellation fee of 25% will be charged.
- For cancellations received after 3 September 2021, no refund will be given, full amount required.
- Name changes are not accepted, unless the participant is from the same company.

Please note that we can only provide you with an invitation letter for the FIDE 2020 congress after we received your registration and payment. After you have made the payment, please contact the FIDE 2020 congress secretariat at: fide2020@congressbydesign.com.
Please be informed that you can bring an accompanying person to the FIDE 2020 Congress. An accompanying person ticket includes the welcome reception, reception/dinner en gala dinner. Kindly note that the lunches at New Babylon and the sessions are not included. The fee for an accompanying person is € 325.
